Lehmann

The glass is part of the experience. Born in Reims, in the heart of Champagne, Lehmann creates tasting glasses that bring together elegance, precision and the realities of professional hospitality. Alambika has been the exclusive Canadian importer of Lehmann since 2016 — building one of the Maison’s most significant markets outside Europe.

“A proper glass is the most economical and straightforward way to make a wine worth its value.”

Designed around what goes inside

A great glass should not compete with the wine. It should reveal it. Shape, diameter, volume and the opening of the glass all influence the way aromas develop, how the wine reaches the palate and ultimately how the guest experiences it.

Lehmann approaches glassware from this perspective. The Maison works with respected sommeliers, chefs and hospitality professionals to create collections with distinct shapes and purposes — from wine and Champagne to cocktails and spirits.

The objective is not simply to make a beautiful glass. It is to make what is inside it better.

A French Maison with a Canadian chapter — Lehmann × Alambika, since 2016

The Montreal Coupe.

In 2016, the Lehmann team travelled from Reims to Montréal for a week around La Grande Dégustation. Together, our teams explored the city’s cocktail scene — the bars and bartenders establishing Montréal as a serious cocktail destination. Until then, Lehmann was a Maison of wine and Champagne. After those nights, Lehmann developed and released its first-ever dedicated cocktail glass: the Montreal Coupe, named after our city.

For us, it represents something bigger than a product: a piece of the shared history between Lehmann, Alambika and Montréal’s hospitality community.

Your guest may not know why the wine feels better. They will simply know that it does.

You probably do not need 12 different wine glasses

Fewer SKUs — easier operations — a more coherent table

Beautiful glassware is meaningless in hospitality if your team is afraid to use it. The right glass is not necessarily the most expensive glass — it is the one that makes sense for the wine, the service and the volume of your establishment. For many restaurants, an intelligent selection starts with:

/01

One universal wine glass

Most red, white & rosé service
/02

One more generous wine glass

Premium bottles & elevated service
/03

One Champagne glass

Sparkling & celebrations
/04

One or two cocktail shapes

Around your actual menu
/05

One tumbler

Water, cocktails, spirits, flexibility
