Los Angeles bitters in classic and inventive flavours.
The range — Forbidden, Bergamot, Castilian, Yuzu, Toasted Pecan, Orange, Sour Cherry, Chocolate ChiliMiracle Mile Bitters Co. is a one-man operation in Los Angeles — Louis Anderman, plus Moneypenny, his famous dog. A former Hollywood studio executive, Louis left the industry years ago to make bitters full-time: cooking, bottling and shipping every batch himself.
His first-ever batch was Gary Regan’s Orange Bitters No. 5 recipe; the first original he was truly proud of — Chocolate Chili — launched the company. The range has grown into some of the most inventive profiles in the category: Forbidden (his most versatile across base spirits), Yuzu, Toasted Pecan, Bergamot, Sour Cherry, Castilian, and Redeye — his toughest R&D challenge, where replicating tobacco flavour was the easy part and the tannic, dry finish took the work.
Reach for Miracle Mile when developing signature cocktails: unusual profiles that give a drink a hook — and a genuine story for the menu, from a maker your bar team can actually relate to. Forbidden is the desert-island bottle; Chocolate Chili the original; Yuzu and Toasted Pecan the conversation starters.
